Life Ministry Centre was founded in 1958 by Pastor Hal Oxley, with small beginnings in their home in Wattle Park, Vic.  These meetings were the seed that grew LMC as we know it today.

In 1986, after several homes, LMC moved to its present, purpose built location in Old Melbourne Rd, Chirnside Park.  

Over the life of the church, tens of thousand of lives have been ministered to during our last 50+ years, hundreds of pastors have been trained and released into Ministry and thousands of children have been educated at Oxley College, which share the grounds of LMC.  

LMC and Ps Allan and Helen Meyer have a long and close relationship, Ps Oxley called Allan to become their first Youth Pastor in 1978 where he served for 5 years prior to taking the Senior Ministers role at Careforce Church.  Ps Hal mentored Ps Allan during this period, and Allan would say that he has continued ever since!  Ps Helen was a teacher and co-ordinator at Oxley College, and was even on the team that designed the Oxley College uniform!

Pastor Graham Nelson has embraced Careforce Lifekeys and has opened the LMC campus for us to hold our annual Conference event and we look forward to working alongside the LMC team!
